SERIES, it is a compilation of an essential part of Consuelo Serrano’s work. Images of various topographies and sites, both rural and urban, are presented, where the photographer seeks to make materiality disappear from the excessive irradiation of light to its absence, converting uncertain and foggy horizons.
Serrano's photographs are presented as blurred landscapes and panoramas of post-industrial haze territories devoid of human presence. Almost repetitive shots with light variations that range from the lightest spectrum - with open, daytime spaces - to the darkest - with night scenes.
The works are supported by a text at the end of the book written by Nathalie Goffard, art theorist and essayist in the field of contemporary art and visual studies.
